Behind the bright blue shopfront at 66 Portobello High Street, Haven Shawarma serves the food of Syria's streets — chicken shawarma carved to order, hand-rolled falafel dusted with za'atar, Akkawi cheese manakish and lahmajun baked fresh through the day.
